He says nothing afterward. Vane's response isn't a countermove. Instead, he simply spends an evening in the safehouse kitchen with Juno, talking not about weaving, her technique or even the choice she will need to make. It’s just talking, as if they were friends. It’s a refreshing experience for Juno. During the conversation, she asks him, carefully, if he ever regrets surviving Lab Leak. He thinks about it for a genuinely long time, then answers in only 3 words. We don't hear them, but we see Juno's face when speaks.
